About 10 Years

10 Years is an alternative rock band that was formed in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1999. The band originally consisted of Mike Underdown, Brian Vodinh, Lewis Cosby, and Ryan Johnson. They released their first album, "Into the Half Moon," in 2001, but underwent some lineup changes shortly afterward. Cosby was replaced by Andy Parks on bass, and Jesse Hasek took over as the band's vocalist, only enhancing the band's sound and energy.

Their breakthrough came in 2005 with the release of their second studio album, "The Autumn Effect," which featured the iconic hit song "Wasteland." This song rapidly climbed the charts, topping both the Active Rock and Alternative Songs charts and even crossing over into the pop music scene. The album itself, along with the single "Wasteland," achieved gold-certification status, solidifying 10 Years' place in the music industry.

Following the success of "The Autumn Effect," 10 Years embarked on an extensive world tour, sharing the stage with renowned bands such as Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, and Korn. This tour not only furthered their exposure but also showcased their dynamic live performances and undeniable stage presence.

In 2008, 10 Years released their album "Division," which peaked at #12 on the Billboard 200. The album's lead single, "Beautiful," soared into the top 10 on the Rock Chart, further cementing their position as a force to be reckoned with in the rock genre. The band then went on tour with Linkin Park and Mudvayne in support of "Division," further solidifying their reputation as a powerhouse on the live music circuit.

10 Years' next album, "Feeding the Wolves," would mark their departure from Republic Records. Despite this, it reached a respectable peak position of #17 on the Billboard 200. The album spawned two more top ten hits on the Rock Chart, "Shoot It Out" and "Fix Me." The band continued to tour extensively, including notable appearances on Shinedown's "Carnival Of Madness" tour and a subsequent tour with Sevendust.

Following their departure from Republic Records, 10 Years independently released their next two albums, "Minus The Machine" in 2012 and "From Birth to Burial" in 2015. These albums garnered moderate success, with several of their songs charting on the Rock Chart. Despite a lineup change and some internal struggles, 10 Years persevered and continued to produce music that resonated with their dedicated fanbase.

In 2017, 10 Years signed with Mascot Records and released their album "(How to Live) as Ghosts." The album featured the hit single "Novacaine," which reached the top five on the Rock Chart. This release proved that 10 Years still had the ability to create captivating music and connect with listeners on a deep level.

Most recently, in 2020, 10 Years released their album "Violent Allies." Although it didn't make an appearance on the Billboard 200, both of its singles reached the top 30 on the Rock Chart. This album demonstrated the band's unwavering commitment to their craft and their ability to evolve and adapt to the ever-changing music landscape.
